By virtue of being alive.

This is a concept that comes up for a lot of the clients I work with who were programmed, taught, or otherwise given the message that they were somehow not enough:

You have value and worth…by virtue of being alive.

What does this mean?

It means you do not have to earn your place on this planet by being perfect.

You do not have to justify your existence with achievement.

You do not have to be exceptional in order to be loved.

At the end of the day, we are all made of stardust.

So if you’re reading this, I want you to remember:

By virtue of being alive, you are worthy.

By virtue of being alive, you are deserving of love and care.

By virtue of being alive, you are deserving of respect and kindness.

By virtue of being alive, you are enough.
